we were impressed with it.
brent says he likes it better than any other zoo we have been to,
but it sure made me miss the columbus zoo.
i am not sure why. mostly the memories,
and the aquauium there, and the familiarity i am sure.
we had a good time spending time with each other, just us. our little family(are we still little?)
when we got there and climbed out of the car ayla claimed she saw a duck.
none of us could see anything.(we don't believe her after her bear and deer claims)
but when a peacock came strutting out from behind a car, we all gave a little chuckle at her "duck".

hunter has a new theme to all his pictures. This was the best one i could get of him.
i saw this couple everywhere. i am a people watcher and these two fascinated me.(maybe because i used to want to be a hippy, vegan extremist but then i married a hunter instead)
they were always touching wherever they went. at one point they had their arms around each others backs and it was the sweetest thing. i wanted a picture of it so badly but someone stepped in my way right at the moment i was going to snatch. the wife (i am assuming they were married because they each had a really cool white lava rock ring on their left ring finger. tmi?) she kept rubbing her baby bump and i just melted. they just had a clean pure love and look about them that was impossible to ignore.
we spent a few minutes looking at the dahl sheep as brent informed us that the one he will be bringing home from alaska will be much larger than this.
